Bread Knife

The bread knife is designed to slice fresh bread from very thin to Texas toast size. It's also great for slicing tomatoes and onions. Miss Hattie's Recipe dates back to pioneer times. The recipe also has the starter instructions. Miss Hattie rode a horse-drawn buggy to teach in several local schools. Bread knives can be Maple, Cheery, or Ambrosia Maple, depending on our stock. Most will be Ambrosia Maple. We use Ambrosia Maple in our products, the variation of colors and streaks is not a defect they add Character to the product. Ambrosia Maple is one of the most unique and stunning hardwoods available today. Hailing from North America, this maple variety is characterized by its beautiful grain patterns and vibrant colors. There can be holes in the wood, and it is one of the more expensive Maples.
