The Braiser features a wider surface area than a typical Dutch Oven, allowing you to sear cuts of meat in a single layer before adding your braising liquid. Gradually sloped sides help keep food fully submerged, while the Cloud Cover Lid holds in moisture and distributes it evenly to keep your stew or braise from drying out. Not limited to just braising, this versatile piece of cookware functions similarly to a skillet, making it an equally great choice for tasks like shallow-frying, baking, and sautéing.
The Enameled Cast Iron Braiser is the perfect vessel for cooking short ribs, oxtails, and other tough cuts that benefit from low and slow cooking.
